P&O Cruises is the quintessentially British brand, so sponsorship of Downton Abbey was the perfect fit. What’s more, the tag line ‘Discover a different world’ brought together the escapism of the show, and the cruise.
We filmed the sponsorship idents during a Mediterranean cruise, designed to highlight the visual similarities of Downton and the cruise experience. The campaign not only helped to re-engage people with the brand and drive sales as a result, but it firmly positioned the brand as ‘Britain’s Favourite Cruise Line’.
