Leadership changes at Walker following MBO

Now in its 30th year, Walker has firmly established itself as one of the leading advertising agencies in the South, and is ranked in Campaign Magazines’s Top 100 UK Creative Agencies, Top 20 outside London.

 

The success and longevity of the agency can be attributed to a number of factors, but none more important than the unique culture that has been fostered by Martin Walker. He has been at the helm of theagency since 1993, and during this time he has created an environment that both champions creativity and celebrates long standing client relationships. In fact Walker boasts an enviable record, with their average client relationship being more than 3 times the industry average!

 

The start of 2024 marks an important evolution for the agency, with changes in the leadership team following a successful management buyout. Martin Walker will remain on the board at the agency in the role of Founder, with Matt Clarke assuming the role of Managing Director.

In addition to the change in ownership, the agency is pleased to announce the promotion of Zennen Thomas as Client Director and Paula Barclay as Operations Director. Both have been an integral part of the agency's success in recent years, and these new roles will give them the opportunity to further impact client relationships, strategy development, and overall business growth.

 

The management buyout and leadership transition come at a time of continued growth and success forWalker, with new client wins from the likes of Ordnance Survey and Airheads Candy US helping fuel an expansion in both the creative and client service teams. Walker will aim to continue building a reputation for delivering innovative and effective solutions for its diverse clientele across Europe, Africa and North America.
