Our April Fools’ Campaign for Chupa Chups UK Turned a fake product Into Their Most Impactful Social Moment Yet.

April Fools’ Day is one of the best moments for brands to connect with their audience in a fun and creative way and this year, we couldn’t resist pulling a little prank. We teased the idea of adding a zipper to Chupa Chups lollipop packaging to make unwrapping easier. Practical, right? Well... it was all just a joke!
The reaction was incredible. In fact, the Chupa Chups UK TikTok account gained 30,000 followers in under 48 hours - making this the most successful social campaign we’ve ever run for them!
With the campaign spanning over 6 different posts over 6 days, it produced results that are no joke:
- Views: 5M
- Profile Visits: 287K
- New Followers: 36K
- Comments: 50K
- Likes: 340k
